Blog Post #20: Finding Your Title

Hello there, welcome back to my blog! 

Today I'll be explaining the importance of finding the perfect masthead title to compliment your magazine.




When searching for the right mastheading, it's important to think about what it'll represent for your brand. I titled my fashion magazine 'Girly Co.' because it's light & upbeat. I wanted something that African American women can relate to. We're constantly sharing things with the male species & this represents a safe space for women to find fashion inspiration. Though the name is 'Girly Co.' this magazine is very inclusive & covers all aspects of female wear. For instance, as women there are days where one will choose to be girly & other days sporty. It's all about embracing your black girl magic!
