Hello!  As mentioned before, I'm starting the production process of my magazine. Today's blog will include the scheduling for my upcoming interview & photoshoot.   When it comes to conducting a production, things tend to happen. Blog Post #41: Lights, Camera, Production Time!

Image
Hello! In the past blogs, I discussed & shared my magazine along with the importance of female fashion & how it has grown in the African American community. Now, it's time for the production of 'Girly Co.' Over the next course of blogs, it'll include exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes access and more. This'll also show the finishing product of my magazine 'Girly Co.' As mentioned in an earlier blog, I decided to produce this magazine on my own without the help of others. This process will be interesting because I'll share the process of creating a magazine whilst my opinion about working solo.

Overall, this process has been amazing thus far & I'm excited to start working on the production of 'Girly Co.'  Again, thank you for tuning in & see you soon!

Blog Post #39: Mind Map!

Image
Hi, welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be sharing an updated mind map of 'Girly Co.' A mind map is a diagram used to visually organise information. A mind map is hierarchical and shows relationships among pieces of the whole. In an earlier blog, I created a mood board so this map will include the complete & updated layout of the magazine. With this mind map I'm able to get a clearer visual of how the layout of this magazine is supposed to be. As you can see, the major ideas are front cover, back cover, inside magazine & pictures- I included extra ideas to further the development of my mind map. The reason for the update is because it shows how new ideas can add to a production.                                                                     See you next time!

Hello! In this blog, I'll share the tools that'll be used to create my magazine. Canva: Canva has everything that is needed to edit a magazine from templates to various fonts. It'll help with the graphic designs & make 'Girly Co.' very appealing. Picsart: Picsart will contribute to my magazine by editing the photography. Whether it needs to be lightened or darkened picsart is going to be my editing source. Also, there are many filters that can be applied to improve the quality of the images. See you in the next blog! *Images are from Google*

Jewelry such as chains or earrings are often used but, I hope to shed light upon other essential accessories.  Sunglasses  Sunglasses are one of the top considered accessories & this is because it creates a bold statement. When used for a photograph, sunglasses are there to set the tone/mood for the outfit; which is why it's often implemented & is very effective during a photoshoot. Shoot glasses away from face.  Handbags  Another accessory that is oftentimes applied to a photograph is...handbags! Handbags are useful because they're a great distraction if someone isn't comfortable with posing. It helps you to get into the swing of things & you'll begin to feel confi
