Welcome to the second part of my photography inspiration series & today I'll be talking about fashion within the teen community.

  • White leather shoulder bag.
  • Classy crossover leg.
  • Minimal jewelry.

  • Graphic t-shirt with pink flair skirt.
  • Clear, mini satchel purse.
  • Accents of pink & white.
  • No jewelry.



Outfit: Streetwear.


  • Setting: Outdoors.
  • Crossover leg with hand in pocket.
  • Graphic t-shirt with windbreaker shorts.
  • Red shoulder purse.
  • Minimal jewelry.
  • Slight slouch pose for relaxed effect.



Since my magazine includes teen fashion within the black community, I decided to share some photos that would be mirrored for my magazine.  I made sure to include many elements of streetwear, prep & hints of Y2K (colorwise.) As you can see in the photos, there are many trendy elements. For instance, graphic t-shirts are very popular & can be worn in many ways whether it's with a skirt, pants or shorts. Photography locations have also became a trend as well because when one finds the perfect setting, it helps to bring out the photo more. Fashion serves as an outlet for black teenage girls because they're able to explore their style & figure out their palette.
