Blog Post #48: Feature Lead Story (Practice)

 Hey there!


In my last blog, I shared my practice interview questions & now, I introduce my sample feature lead story.


Practice Example: 

Semira Bush has it all: beauty, talent & personality. The 18-year- old performing arts lover considers herself to be a positive, open-minded person that will always put her needs first. A firm believer in healing treatment, Semira uses aromatherapy to cure her stress (I know that's right!) Dancing isn't her only medicine, Bush also has dreams of becoming a doctor & when she needs inspiration, her mother is who she turns to. An addition to all of her redeeming qualities, Semira Bush is also a magazine creator. She says that her magazine has variety, graphics & inclusivity. And when asked about what her viewers can expect, she stated "This magazine reflects my passion for dancing."


Description: I decided to create a narrative/ direct quote feature lead story. I felt as if, this would explain who my interviewee is more as a person with her commentary added.
