Blog Post #22: 'Girly Co.' Mood Board

Hi, welcome back to my blog!

Today, I'll be sharing the vision board that I created for my magazine "Girly Co."  This gives an insight of what's to come & the creative process that goes into planning my magazine.

The idea behind this vision board is that, it would be considered a female, black owned magazine & so I wanted to focus on African American women & their style. With fashion, there are many ways to style yourself & I want to address that in "Girly Co." Also, the colors that are seen represents how vibrant & upbeat my magazine will be. My inspirations are Essence, Vogue & Teen Vogue; I hope to mirror these into my magazine because "Girly Co." caters to fashion in the African American community, teens & adults; when I combine my three inspirations, it'll complete my magazine all together.
